Liverpool lost to AC Milan 2-1 in Athens in the 2007 Champions League Cup Final. I am in shock, I feel numb, I feel devastated. I need sometime to recover from this loss.

What does it mean ? Well below is the meaning of this idiom from http://www.goenglish.com/PutYourFootInYourMouth.asp

You “put your foot in your mouth” when you say something that makes a person feel embarrassed. Example: “Last night I was telling a joke, and I really put my foot in my mouth. I had no idea I was talking about Rob’s wife.” You can imagine how embarrassed you would feel and how funny you would look if you actually “put your foot in your mouth.” Example: “I am so embarrassed. Are you sure he could hear me when I was talking in the next room?” Reply: “Yes. You really put your foot in your mouth.” Note: The word “foot” is always singular when you say “foot in your mouth”. Example: “Let’s all be very careful what we say at the meeting tomorrow. I don’t want anyone putting their foot in their mouth.” When you say something which makes someone feel embarrassed or causes an embarrassing situation, you have “put your foot in your mouth.”

Asian Festival of Speed (AFOS) Event May 7, 2007

A couple of Savvy owners from Savvy Owners Club (SAVOC) and I decided to attend this event held on May 6th (Sunday) to watch Formula BMWs, Porsche 911 Carrera and Formula Renault V6 racing around the Sepang F1 Circuit at insane speeds.

We all met at the designated meeting point in Petronas Station in Bangi. It was unfortunately a cold, wet and rainy Sunday, just like your typical British weather. However when we reached Sepang, it was hot and humid, just like your typical Malaysian weather. Luckily for me I drank plenty of water and boy it worked. I had to go to the bathroom more often than not.

Anyway, I had a blast at the AFOS event, even though the event wasn’t as glamorous when the F1 circus comes to town. I just loved seeing see them Porsche 911 Carrera tearing down the main straight. Took some photos as well.

It started out as a wet, cold and rainy journey to Sepang….
