On Saturday, it was Ee Ee’s day to show off her athletic skills and Mom and Dad was there to witness this momentous occasion.

The sporting arena was held at the Petronas Training Centre Indoor Stadium in Bangi which wasn’t that far from our house. The stadium was packed with parents, kids and staffs from Apple King Kindergarten of Kajang and Semenyih.

Ee Ee participated in the Kangaroo hopping contest for her group whereby she had to hop on a inflatable ball-like kangaroo from one end to another and boy was she good. She liked it a lot, hopping up and down. For her effort, her group came in 2nd pace. Not bad, not bad at all.

Mom and Dad was extremely happy for her. Now perhaps Ee Ee wanna try her hand at football….

(and off she goes..)

Papa, I wanna be like Lewis Hamilton…. June 19, 2007

I am an avid Formula 1 supporter eversince the late Aytron Senna drove for the JPS Lotus Renault way back in the mid eighties. His car control especially in the wet was out-of-this-world. His determination to win was clearly etched in his eyes and his ruthlessness on the track sent shivers down the spine of his fellow racers.

Now twenty years later, we get to see that same kind of determination and ruthlessness in the young Lewis Hamilton, a Mclaren F1 driver. Yes, Lewis is the real deal in my opinion and this is his 1st year in Formula. At just 22, Lewis had won 2 races, finished on podium in every race so far and is currently leading this year’s Formula 1 World Drivers Championship.

He is making this teammate, double world and reigning champion, Fernando Alonso, looking like an amateur. Bear in mind Alonso is just as good as Lewis, but Lewis is showing Alonso, the proper way to drive an F1 racing car.

I just can’t wait to see many more on track racing between Lewis and Fernando and Mclaren team boss, Ron Dennis wouldn’t mind either.

This has got me thinking quite a bit. Lewis had been racing at a very young age and he had plenty of moral support from his father, Anthony Hamilton. So I guess I better give the same kind of support to my kids and hope that one day, either Ee Ee or Wei Han or both gets the driving bug in them. For the moment, Ee Ee seems have an eye for racing as show in the image below.

You go girl…

Endless babbling… June 10, 2007

Wei Han has been getting pretty talkative, well I wouldn’t say talkative but more like babbling about anything and everything. I guess he is trying his earnest to tell us that he doesn’t like to

1. Take a bath – prefers to stink the whole day.
2. Drink Milk – prefers beer.
3. Change clothes – prefers a brand new of Armani shirts.
4. Be left unattended – prefers to be carried and cuddled by women with huge pair of assets.
5. Take rides in the car – prefers to fly first class.

It’s been going on like this for the past 3 months….well more likely the day he was born. He’s beginning to show to Mama and Papa his oral skills. Picking up new babbling skills at an alarming rate.

Last night, I finally found out from where he was learning to babble…

So its seems, when all of us were sleeping, Wei Han picked up one of them baby books and started learning the art of babbling. I finally caught him and from the looks of this photograph, Wei Han was trying his earnest to hide the book.

I got a new set of wheels………. June 2, 2007

Wei Han had been itching to try out the baby walker that my mom and sister bought for Ee Ee long time ago. Since Ee Ee doesn’t have the need for it anymore, Wei Han has decided to try it out to polish his walking skills.

It’s times like these that both Mom and Dad feel anxious and scared. Anxious because we would dearly love to see Wei Han take his first steps. Scared because once Wei Han starts to walk, Mom and Dad gonna have a hard time following him…

So Wei Han, take your time, kiddo, take your time….
