Just came back from a two day one night holiday trip in Port Dickson with my kids, wife and mother-in-law. Our stay at the Avillion Beach Resort Port Dickson was absolutely great.  Though our holiday was quite short, my two munchkins had a blast playing endlessly on the beach and in the kiddie pool in the beach resort, so much so that both of them did not want to go back!!! I don’t blame theme either since the weather, though hot wasn’t that humid was great plus there was so much activities in the beach resort to keep them occupied.

I have two gripes about this beach resort i.e the car park facilities and the food. The parking for guests is somewhat absurd as the parking lot is located on the other side of the road. One has to cross the busy road to get back to the hotel lobby. The food kinda sucked especially dinner. The buffet style dinner was quite appalling -  very limited buffet spread , not tasty and at RM68++ per head, it wasn’t value for my money. Same goes for breakfast, very little to choose from but since it’s part of the package, I can’t complain.

Overall I enjoyed myself and so to my two little munchkins, my wife and my mother-in-law and oh, managed to take some photos…

ha..ha..ha..ha…I couldn’t stop laughing when I watched this video of former F1 racer, Ricardo Patrese and now an F1 Italian TV commentator , takes his wife along for a spin on the new Honda Civic Type R car in the racing circuit in Spain, Jerez to be more precise.

What made me laugh the most is his wife’s reaction to his driving – simply priceless and to top it of, both of them didn’t know that there was a video camera recording their reactions. Patrese seems to be smiling the entire moment.

Yes, I’ve been chromed!!!..well Google Chrome that is. Yes folks, I have downloaded Google’s new web browser Chrome beta version. The people at Google have up the ante in the web browser wars currently dominated by Microsft and Mozilla. I never liked IE in the first place and had been using Firefox for about three years now. Was using Firefox Version 3.01 but after I downloaded and installed Google Chrome, man it’s totally out of this world – in terms of features.

The one feature which I really like is it’s main page which populates a preview of your frequently visited websites . However I am not sure whether in the long run, the main page will get a bit cluttered assuming you’ve have a lot of most visited websites in your list.

Since it’s a beta version I reckon there’s still some more issues that it needs to be ironed out. So far though, I am liking the Chrome. Kudos to the guys and gals from Google who designed the web browser.
